Facebook is a wonderful web site, where I'm not only networking with my professional friends on there but also my high school friends from years ago! Although I attended John F. Kennedy High School in Plainview, LI, until my junior year - when my family moved out of Plainview and into Mineola, LI - I graduated from Mineola High School in Garden City Park, LI, in June 1977 so that is 'years ago' lol.

Facebook is truly a GREAT way to stay in touch with old friends and new :) And I thank the owners of facebook for creating a fantastic site! I also thank the owner of the application "NetworkedBlogs" for creating an app. where writers of blogs can share their words with friends and fans on facebook!! Oh my, I forgot to also thank the owners of Blogspot.com for allowing us to share our blogs on facebook through "NetworkedBlogs"!!!

A publisher's Birthday Wish for a worthy cause!

Dear Readers:

Although Rosanne Catalano, the publisher & editor of The Cat's Meow for Writers & Readers, is still on hiatus she is requesting, for the first time in our magazine's 5 year history, your help in fulfilling a birthday wish she recently made!

Happy New Year Everyone

Wow, so far this new year has turned out to be a good one! I've been just as busy as I was last year but I finally completed my 2nd book. It is titled Mirrored Images [1] and is available to purchase on my website! I managed to get my second book finished and published all while working on publishing my progressive-magazine. I also had two story articles published so far this year; Christmas with Grandma, a story article, was published in Storytime Tapestry newsletter and Midnight in the Morning, a short story, was accepted and published on Lit.org's website. And now I must concentrate on writing my 2nd column for Wt~In Spirit magazine. That deadline is February 1st so I've got to get my rear end moving here!

But now I'm exhausted so I'm signing off to get some much needed sleep; it truly has been a hectic month!
